Before being admitted to Crimson Technical College, a prospective student must have an interview with an Admissions Representative and be accepted by the admissions committee.

Federal Aviation Adminstration Requirements - Aviation Programs
Eligibility requirements: General
To be eligible for a mechanic certificate and associated ratings, a person must:
Must be 18 years of age; Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, or in the case of an applicant who does not meet this requirement and who is employed outside of the United States by a U.S. air carrier have his certificate endorsed "Valid only outside the United States"; and Have passed all of the prescribed tests within a period of 24 months.
ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS

Admission into any program requires the applicant to meet certain admissions requirements. Applicants must provide documentation of prior education and must demonstrate proficiency in basic college-level skills. Applicants from countries where English is not the primary language spoken and applicants whose native language not English must demonstrate English language proficiency.
The following must be completed and provided by the applicant to qualify for admission to the College:
An application for admission must be submitted to the College by the end of the Add/Drop period (as published in the Academic Calendar) along with a $25 application fee and $75 registration fee for $100 total.


In some cases application fees may be waived or deferred including :
Education Alliance member
Crimson College graduate
Current student upgrading his/her degree
Former student, who has attended school, dropped and returns to school within one year (365 days) of his or her last day of attendance.

Active, Veteran and Reserve military personnel (must have current Military ID or DD-214)
Special circumstances with proper documentation. $75 Waiver ($25 application fee due):
Active, Veteran and Reserve military personnel's dependents that are eligible for military tuition assistance or are eligible for Vocational Rehab benefits. B. Former student, who has attended school, dropped and returns to school more than one year (365 days) after their last day of attendance.

One of the following documents must be submitted to the College by the 14th day of the term :
Copy or original of applicant's high school transcript indicating that the applicant fulfilled the requirements for graduation from high school.
Copy or original of applicant's recognized equivalency certificate such as the General Education Development (GED), or copy or original of the GED transcript showing fulfillment of the requirements for a GED.
Copy of applicant's high school diploma.
Copy or original of applicant's postsecondary school academic transcript which gives proof to one of the following:
Completed Associate, Bachelor or Master DEGREE
Copy of applicant's Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214) that confirms that the applicant has graduated from high school or has received a recognized equivalency certificate such as the General Education Development (GED).
Copy of applicant's certificate of completion of a home school program if the applicant's home state recognizes the home school. Documentation of the state's recognition must be evidenced in the applicant's records.
